Why sobriety doesn’t have to mean saying goodbye to fun

I used to worry about this all the time in my early days of sobriety.

After all, alcohol played a big part in making some of my funniest memories. Would nights out feel flat? Would friends stop inviting me out? Would I be boring? Will I still make memories in the future that would make me laugh?
